NHDP Team Visits Museum of Nepali Arts

The NHDP team visited the Museum of Nepali Arts (MoNA) for a professionally and personally enriching experience. Founder Rajan Shakya warmly welcomed the team and praised their efforts in documenting Nepal's rich cultural heritage. A highlight of the visit was meeting Dr. Erin Thompson, a renowned art crime professor, who provided valuable insights into art preservation. The NHDP team explored MoNA’s impressive collection, showcasing Nepalese artwork and the museum’s dedication to preservation. In appreciation, they presented Mr. Shakya with a drawing of Ituṃ Bāhāḥ by NHDP architect Bijay Basukala. The visit concluded with a dinner that fostered strong bonds and celebrated the collaborative efforts to preserve Nepal's cultural legacy.
